9. Eligibility confirmation
Read the two questions shown in the YEAR END TAX ADJUSTMENT ELIGIBILITY CONFIRMATION page.
If neither applies to you, do not put any check mark. Click “Next” to proceed to next step.
If one or both applies to you, put a check mark in the appropriate box. Click “Next” which will take you to step 19. Data input confirmation. In this case, insurance related deduction input steps will be omitted.
10. Digital insurance records
*If you do not see this page, procced to step “11. General life insurance.”
If you have insurance payment data file to upload, mark “I have files to upload” then click ”Next” to proceed.
If you do not have any insurance payment data file to upload, mark “I do not have any files to upload” then click “Next” to proceed.
To upload, click “Select file” then select the file you want to upload to the system.
Note: If there are multiple files, click “Select file” → select all the files you want to upload→ click “Upload.”
Review the contents then click “Import.”
Note: Proceed to 11. General life insurance and subsequent steps to confirm the registered information.
11. General life insurance
If you do not have any life insurance to declare, mark “No” then click “Next” to proceed.
If you have life insurance to declare, mark “Yes” then enter the details shown in your deduction certificate.
Note: Be sure to confirm that it is a general life insurance for this year. Separate steps will be available to enter nursing care / medical insurance and private pension insurance.
The amount to declare should for what has been paid for this year.
Enter the amount and details. Click the “+” button if you need to declare multiple policies.
12. Nursing care / medical insurance premiums
If you do not have any nursing care / medical insurance premiums to declare, mark “No” then click “Next” to proceed.
If you have nursing care / medical insurance premiums to declare, mark “Yes” then enter the details shown in your deduction certificate.
Note: Be sure to confirm that it is nursing care / medical insurance premiums for this year. General life insurance and private pension insurance are to be entered separately.
The amount to declare should for what has been paid for this year.
Enter the amount and details. Click the “+” button if you need to declare multiple policies.
13. Private pension insurance
If you do not have any private pension insurance to declare, mark “No” then click “Next” to proceed.
If you have private pension insurance to declare, mark “Yes” then enter the details shown in your deduction certificate.
Note: Be sure to confirm that it is private pension insurance for this year. General life insurance and nursing care / medical insurance premiums are to be entered separately.
The amount to declare should for what has been paid for this year.

14. Earthquake insurance payments deduction
If you do not have any earthquake insurance to declare, mark “No” then click “Next” to proceed.
If you have earthquake insurance to declare, mark “Yes” then enter the details shown in your deduction certificate.
Note: Be sure to confirm that it is earthquake insurance for this year.
The amount to declare should for what has been paid for this year.
Enter the amount and details. Click the “+” button if you need to declare multiple policies.
15. Other social insurance
If you have not paid any social insurance premiums directly, mark “No” then click “Next” to proceed.
If you paid for any national pension or health insurance premiums, mark “Yes” and enter required details
16. Small-medium enterprise (SME) mutual insurance
premium
If you are not declaring any deduction for SME mutual insurance premium, mark “No” then click “Next” to proceed.
If you are declaring for SME mutual insurance premium, mark “Yes” and enter required details.
17. Total housing loan special deduction
If you are not declaring housing loan special deduction, mark “No” then click “Next.”
If you are declaring for housing loan special deduction, mark “Yes” and enter required details. Be sure to have the original copy of the deduction certificate and enter accurately. When complete, click “Next” to proceed.
Note 1: Housing loan special deduction total amount will be calculated automatically.
By clicking the orange “?” mark, help will be displayed.
Note 2: If you have more than one housing loan deduction to declare, use the “Add second deduction details” to enter required information.
18. Income adjustment deduction
The contents of the wizard varies depending on income tax bracket and income. Follow the instructions on the screen to check if you are subject to income adjustment deduction.
If the contents are correct, click “Next.”
If you need to make any changes, click on the blue text with link to that category. It will take you back to the appropriate step to apply required changes.
