Requests related to time & leave, such as overtime requests, leave requests, timesheet requests, etc., are sent from subordinates to their supervisors for approval.
The supervisor can view the list of time & leave related requests from subordinates on the Approval screen or the dashboard screen. You can also approve directly from your e-mail. You may approve in one of the following ways
Approve from the "Approval" screen
Approve on the dashboard screen
Approve from email
Certificate file attached to special holiday request
Approve from the "Approval" screen
① Click on SUPERVISORS "Approval".
② Approval requests related to attendance, such as leave requests, time entry requests, and timesheet requests, are displayed on the Approval requests screen by category.
You can also narrow down the search of approval requests by approvees, request type, request status, etc.
③ Check the check boxes for the requests you wish to approve on the Approval requests screen.
For a large number of employees, you can also specify which employees to display by clicking "All approvees" in ②.
④ Enter notes as needed.
⑤ Click on "Approve selected."
⑥ When you approve, a message appears at the top of the screen.
*To reject the request, enter a comment in the notes field and click "Reject selected" at ⑤.
Approve on the dashboard screen
The Dashboard screen will display notices of requests from your subordinates. You can approve them directly from here.
① Click on EMPLOYEES "Dashboard".
② Click "Approve" for the request you wish to approve.
【To reject the request】
① Click on "Add a note."
② Enter a comment in the note field.
③ Click on "Reject."
Approve from email
Time & leave requests from subordinates are notified to their supervisors by e-mail.
The supervisor can approve directly from the "Approve" button in the body of the e-mail without logging into the system.
① Click on "Approve now."
② Read the message and click "Yes".
You can approve without logging into the system.
Certificate file attached to special holiday request
Depending on the company's settings, employees may be able to attach a certificate or other file to their special holiday request.
If so, you will see the file in the "Attachment(s)" column to the right of the eligible employee.
