If you need to record your break times, follow these steps.
This manual explains how to record breaks on the “Dashboard” and “Timesheets” screens.

■Start break
① Click EMPLOYEES [Dashboard].
② When you start a break, click the “Start break” button.
③ Read the message and click the “Start break” button.
■End break
④ When you end the break, click the “End break” button.
⑤ Read the message and click the “End break” button.
⑥ When you record the start and end of your break, the time will be reflected in the “Check in/out today” column.
The recorded time for the start of your break is shown in the first line, “Out”.
The recorded time for the end of your break is shown in the second line, “In”.
*If you took two breaks, the start of your break will be shown in the second line, “Out”, and the start time of your break will be shown in the third line, “In”.
If you take a second or subsequent break click on “Start break”.
After that, please repeat steps ③ through ⑤.
Reflection on Timesheet
You can also see the break times recorded on the dashboard screen on the timesheet screen.
① Click EMPLOYEES [Timesheets].
*Employees who work shifts click on [Timesheets /shifts].
② Click on “Monthly.”
③ It reflects the time you recorded your breaks.
It is displayed on two lines, similar to the “Check in/out today” column on the dashboard screen.
*If you took two breaks, it will be displayed on three lines, and if you took three breaks, it will be displayed on four lines.

When you mouse over the break (start or end) time you have recorded on the dashboard screen, a comment will appear “Server time”.
Record breaks on timesheet screen
You can record your breaks on the timesheet screen.
You can also check, correct, and delete the time you have recorded on your dashboard screen.
① Click EMPLOYEES [Timesheets].
*Employees who work shifts click on [Timesheets /shifts].
② Click on “Monthly.”
③ Specify the month to enter.
④ Click on the “End” field for the date you wish to record the breaks.
■Start break
⑤ Enter the break start time.
⑥ Click on the break icon.
Your break start time has been recorded.
■End break
⑦ Click on one of the fields for the date you specified in ④.
⑧ Click on the “+” icon.
⑨ Click on the “Start” field of the added row.
⑩ Enter the break end time.
⑪ Click on the break icon.
Your break end time has been recorded.
*If you take a second or subsequent break, click in the red frame. Then, repeat ⑤ through ⑪.

When you mouse over the break (start or end) time you have entered, the comment “Manual entry” will appear.

Even if you have registered more than one break in a day, the total break time will be displayed on the first line.
(e.g.) Register for the first break (12:02-12:25) and the second break (14:30-15:07).
The total time “60” is displayed in the break field of the first line.
Correction method
If you wish to correct a break time that you have recorded on the dashboard screen or timesheet screen, or registered using another recording method, follow the steps below.
① On the date line you want to correct, leave blank the Break start or Break end field you want to correct.
② Enter the time you wish to correct.
③ Click on the break icon.
Your corrected time has been registered.

Mouse over the time you entered and you will see the comment below.
■Corrected the recorded time on the dashboard screen, etc.
“Manual entry” will be displayed.
Depending on your company settings, the time you have recorded on your home screen, etc., may appear as “Server time”.
(Above example: You have recorded your break time as 11:00 on the Dashboard screen, etc. Then, you changed it to 10:45 on the timesheet screen.)
■Corrected the time entered on the timesheet screen
"Manual entry No server time recorded” will be displayed.
*The time before the correction will be overwritten and will not be displayed.
Deletion method
If you want to delete and input the registered break time because it was registered incorrectly, or if you registered multiple breaks by mistake, etc., please follow the steps below to delete the registered line.
*It is not possible to delete only the record field you want to delete. You can only delete that line.
① Click “Start” or “End” on the line you wish to delete.
② lick on the “-” icon.
③ Read the message and click “Yes”.
The selected rows will be deleted and only the non-deleted rows will be displayed.
If necessary, register the break end or break start again.
Another method of recording breaks
■Use "Team common check in/out page" [For employees]
This is a way for multiple employees to record their check-in and check-out, breaks on a common check in/out screen.
■Check in/out with PitTouch Pro
Employees hold their cards up to the “PitTouch Pro” series terminals to check in, check out, and take breaks.
