Approver sets up your own delegate approver

If you are using the approval delegation feature, the process is as follows

2-B. An employee with approver privileges sets up an approver as a replacement in your absence.

The procedure for you, the approver, to set up an approver in your place is as follows

① Click on SUPERVISORS [Approvals].
② Click on "Delegations."
③ Click on "Add new."

④ Enter the name or employee ID of the person you wish to set as your substitute approver in the "Delegate name" field. Then decide on the delegate approver.
* Depending on your company's settings, select from the pull-down menu that appears.

⑤ Select "Approval Type."

⑥ Select the "Start date" and "End date" from the calendar.
⑦ (If approval is required) Click "Request approval". If approval is not required, click "Save".
Depending on your company's settings, approval may be required after submitting this request.
In that case, please wait for approval after submitting your request.

After completing this setting, the employee you designate as the approver (in the example: Martin Tokyo) will approve from the start date to the end date.

After the end date, the original approver (not the delegate approver) will approve the requests as usual.
* To change the end date, shorten or extend the end date.
