For paid vacations, special holidays, and various requests (unpaid leave, holiday work, compensation holiday, substitute holidays, remote work, etc.), you request them on the "Leave requests" screen.
You can modify the timesheet yourself until it is approved.
*Depending on your company settings, the menu name may be labeled "Leave requests / trips".

Request paid vacations or special holidays
① Click on EMPLOYEES [Leave requests] (or [Leave requests / trips])
② Click on "Request time off."
③ Click on the pull-down menu and select the name you wish to request from Paid vacation, Special holiday, etc.
④ Select the time unit of use from "Full-day/AM Half-day/PM Half-day/Hourly".
Note: If your company rules do not allow for half-day or hourly units of use, "AM Half-day / PM Half-day" or "Hourly" will not appear.
If you can use "Hourly" then after selecting it you will be presented with a screen where you can set the start time and number of hours.
⑤ Enter notes (may be required or optional depending on your company setup).
⑥ Click on the date you wish to take.
⑦ Click "Send request". Your supervisor will be notified of your request for approval.
You can see your request history, remaining paid vacation days, and other information at the bottom of the page.
Clicking on "See more details" will display information such as grant date and days rolled from previous years.
Attach file to special holiday request
Depending on your company's setup, you may be required to attach a certificate or other file when requesting special holiday.
If this is the case, please follow the procedure below.
① Click on "Request time off."
② Select the name of the special holiday you wish to request from the pull-down menu.
③ Select the time unit of use from "Full-day/AM Half-day/PM Half-day/Hourly".
Note: If your company rules do not allow for half-day or hourly units of use, "AM Half-day / PM Half-day" or "Hourly" will not appear.
If you can use "Hourly" then after selecting it you will be presented with a screen where you can set the start time and number of hours.
④ Select the file you wish to attach from "Select file" or drag the attachment to that location.
Multiple files can be attached.
⑤ Enter notes (may be required or optional depending on your company setup).
⑥ Click on the date you wish to take.
⑦ Click "Send request". Your supervisor will be notified of your request for approval.
In the request history on the right side of the bottom row of the screen, you can also see attachments.
If your company rules requires that a certificate file be attached, a warning message will appear and you will not be able to complete the request without attaching the file. Please attach the file and redo the request.
If you are requesting more than one special holiday at a time, you may not simultaneously request a special holiday that requires a certificate file attachment and a special holiday that does not require a file attachment. You must request them separately.
Cancel request
To cancel a paid vacation or special holiday that you have already requested, go to "Time off history for 20XX" in the lower right corner of the screen.
Or click on the date you wish to cancel from the calendar.
You may modify your request yourself until the timesheet for the month with the date you wish to cancel is "Approved".
Depending on the circumstances you may not be able to cancel it by yourself.
●The timesheet is already “approved” for that timesheet with a date(s) in the previous month or other past month.
●Multiple days requested in one request.
*You cannot cancel only some dates. all dates of that request will be cancelled. Please make a new request for the dates in that request that you do not wish to cancel.

"Pending" is displayed.
① Click "Cancel" for the paid vacation or special holiday you wish to cancel.
② Read the message and click "Yes". The request will be deleted.
Notes: When you select the date you wish to cancel from the calendar, the screen shown above will appear. Clicking "Cancel" will delete the request.
If you have already requested multiple days of paid vacation (or special holiday) in one request, all of the dates included in the selected request will be canceled.
■Cancel after approval
"Approved" is displayed.
① Click "Cancel" for the paid vacation or special holiday you wish to cancel.
② Read the message and click "Yes". Your supervisor will be notified of your cancellation approval request.
Notes: When you select the date you wish to cancel from the calendar, the screen shown above will appear. Your supervisor will be notified of your request for cancellation approval when you click "Cancel".
If you have already requested multiple days of paid vacation (or special holiday) in one request, all of the dates included in the selected request will be requested to be canceled.
③ The display will change to "Cancel requested".
When your supervisor approves the cancel request, the display changes to "Cancelled".
■Request you cannot cancel
You cannot cancel by yourself in the following cases.
●The request is dated in the previous month or other past month, and the timesheet for that month has already been “approved”.
●Multiple dates requested in one request. Some of those dates were in past months for which timesheets had already been approved.
(e.g.) You made a single request for February 9 and March 15 together, and you want to cancel March 15, but the February timesheet has already been approved.
If you try to cancel, the above message will appear.
In that case, please contact your company's HR, etc. to inform them of the dates you wish to cancel, and they will contact us via HR before processing the cancellation.
Even if you contact us directly from your inquiry, we will confirm with your HR, etc. before processing the cancellation.
■Resend
Before approval and during the cancel requested, a "resend" button will appear.
Clicking this button will send the approval (or in the case of a cancellation request, approval of the cancellation request) request notification to the approver's supervisor.
※※Notes when your approver changes in the middle of the process※※
Requests and approver are tied together.
If your approver changes after your request has been approved, your cancellation request will not reach your new approver. It will be sent to your previous approver.
Therefore, if your previous approver works for your company, please contact him/her.
If your previous approver has already resigned, please contact your company's HR, etc. to have the cancellation approved on his/her behalf.
