To make an overtime request, please follow the steps below.
Depending on your company settings, overtime requests may not be able to be requested after the end of the workday due to the "Before only" setting.
Screen
① Click on EMPLOYEES [Timesheets].
② Specify the month for which you wish to request overtime.
There are two ways to make a request: "Request after" or "Request before" working overtime.
Depending on your company setup, you may be allowed both "After" and "Before" or "Before only".
After this, please refer to "Request after" or "Request before" depending on the request method.

Request after
This pattern is to request after working overtime. You may request even after the day following the day on which you worked overtime.
If you worked overtime, you must either "Request" or "Do not request". Without completing this, you will not be able to request a timesheet for the last day of the month.
Until the timesheet is locked, you may request overtime or modify the time and re-request.
Make a new request
① Click the icon in the "Overtime" column for the day for which you are requesting overtime.
② The Overtime request screen will appear.
③ Enter the end time of the overtime work.
*The "Use actual time" will appear. Clicking on this button will apply the time you have already checked out.
④ Enter notes such as reasons for overtime work if necessary (some companies require notes to be entered).
⑤ Click on "Send request."
⑥ The icon in the "Overtime" column has changed.
*When you mouse over it, it is displayed as "Pending".
⑦ When your supervisor approves, the icon in the "Overtime" column changes.
*When you mouse over it, "Approved" is displayed.
You will also receive an email notification that your overtime request for the applicable day has been approved.
Correct the requested time
If for some reason your checking out time changes and you wish to modify your overtime request, please follow the steps below.
Until the timesheet is locked by your admins, you may re-request the overtime request with your modifications, even if it has already been approved.
■Extend the requested time
■Shorten the requested time
■Withdraw the request
■Extend the requested time
① Enter the "End time" for the applicable day (you can also enter the end time for the day from your dashboard screen, or you can use PitTouch). The icon in the "Overtime" column will change.
Click the icon.
② The requested end time will be displayed, enter the end time you wish to re-request.
*The "Use actual time" will appear. Clicking this will apply the modified check-out time on the timesheet screen.
③ Enter notes such as reasons for overtime work if necessary (some companies require notes to be entered).
④ Click on "Send request."
⑤ The time in the "Overtime" column will also change, and the icon will change to the "Pending" icon.
If your supervisor approves it after this, it will change to the "Approved" icon.
■Shorten the requested time
Please correct the end time on the subject day. You do not need to re-request the overtime request.
If your actual work end time is earlier than the time you requested, the actual end time will be referenced for payroll calculations.
■Withdraw the request
If you did not work overtime at all, you can still modify only the end time as described above in "Shorten the requested time," and there is no need to cancel the overtime request, etc.
If you wish to delete an already requested overtime request, please follow the steps below.
① Corrects the end time on the subject day.
② Click on the icon in the "Overtime" column.
③ Click on "Delete."
④ Read the message and click "Yes."
⑤ In the case of a request unnecessary end time, the "Overtime" column will appear as shown in the figure above.
Do not request overtime
If you work overtime and do not request overtime, you must respond with a "Ignore" response.
■"Ignore" response on the target date line
① Click on the icon in the "Overtime" column for days when you do not request overtime.
② The Overtime request screen will appear. Click "Ignore."
③ The icon in the "Overtime" column has changed.
*Ignored" is displayed when the mouse is over it.
■Bulk "Ignore" response for multiple days
It is also possible to "Ignore" multiple days at once at the top of the screen.
*It is also possible to respond not to request overtime for only one day.
① Click on "mark them as not requested" or "Unsubmitted overtime requests" at the top of the screen.
② Your overtime days that have not yet been "Requested" or "Ignored" will be displayed.
Check the checkboxes for the days you do not request overtime. If you check multiple days, you can respond to them all at once.
③ Click on "Save."
The display of the "Overtime" column for the subject day after this is the same as in ③ of the "'"Ignore" response on the target date line".
Request before
This pattern is requested before overtime.
Depending on the company setting, "Before only" prior to overtime work may be allowed.
In such cases, after the requestable time has passed, you will not be able to make a new request or modify an overtime request yourself (deletion is possible).
If you need to make a new request or modify an overtime request after the available time has passed, please contact your HR, etc.
Notes: For company settings where both "Before" and "After" are allowed, new overtime requests or re-requests with time corrections can be made until the timesheet is locked.
Make a new request
① Click the icon in the "Overtime" column for the day you wish to request overtime.
② The Overtime request screen will appear.
*The screen displayed will differ slightly depending on whether the date line clicked on in ① is "today" or "tomorrow or later.
③ Enter the estimated time the overtime work will end.
④ Enter notes such as reasons for overtime work if necessary (some companies require notes to be entered).
⑤ Click on "Send request."
⑥ The icon in the "Overtime" column has changed.
*When you mouse over it, it is displayed as "Pending".
⑦ When your supervisor approves, the icon in the "Overtime" column changes.
*When you mouse over it, "Approved" is displayed.
You will also receive an email notification that your overtime request for the applicable day has been approved.
Correct the requested time
<"After" requests are also available>
You can modify it yourself. See "Correct the requested time" under "Request after."
<Companies only allowed "Before" requests>
Once the requestable time has passed, you cannot modify it yourself. If the end time of the requested day exceeds the overtime request time, please extend the end time of the overtime request and re-request it before the specified end time.
If you have passed the available request time, please contact your HR, etc. as you will not be able to submit a later request. You are required to have your overtime end time modified.
■For "Before" request only "Extend request time during available request time"
■For "Before" request only "Shorten the requested time"

① Click the icon in the "Overtime" column before the end of the scheduled working hours on the subject day.
② The requested end time will be displayed, enter the end time you wish to re-request.
③ Enter notes such as reasons for overtime work if necessary (some companies require notes to be entered).
④ Click on "Send request."
⑤ The time in the "Overtime" column will also change, and the icon will change to the "Pending" icon.
If your supervisor approves it after this, it will change to the "Approved" icon.
■For "Before" request only "Shorten the requested time"
Enter the end time on the subject day. (You can also enter the day's check-out from your dashboard screen, or use the PitTouch.)
You do not need to re-request the overtime request.
If your actual work end time is earlier than the time you requested, the actual end time will be referenced for payroll calculations.
■For "Before" request only "Withdraw the request"

If the deleted overtime request is for the same day, please enter the end time as usual.
For "Before" request only "Do not request overtime"
If you work overtime and do not request overtime, you must respond with a "Ignore" response.

For "Before" request only "Extension of the requested time after the available request time"
If you have already requested an overtime request and the available request time has passed, you cannot modify the end time of the overtime request and re-request it. You must contact your HR, etc. to have your overtime end time modified.
(e.g.) I would like to correct the end time of my overtime request as well, since my checking out time on the previous day (the 25th) was incorrect.
① Corrects the end time on the subject day.
② A message appears at the top of the screen saying, "you are past the overtime request cutoff time. Please ask your HR admin to enter your times."
If you click on the icon in the "Overtime" column for the subject day, you will see the message "You are beyond the overtime request cutoff time for this day." and the Overtime request screen will not open.
