With the March 25, 2025 release, the “Unlock my account” button link in the unlock email has been set to expire in 24 hours. If the 24 hours is exceeded, the link will expire.

Causes of account locked
If you make a mistake in entering your registered email address or password on the Workcloud login screen, the warning message shown below will appear.
If you make a mistake in entering your registered email address or password on this screen for the excessive number of times, your account will be locked.
You will not be able to log in even if you continue to enter your email address and password.
After unlocking your account from the account unlock email you received, you will need to log in to Workcloud again. Please follow the steps below.
How to unlock your account
This is how to unlock your account if you made a mistake in entering your registered email address or password for the excessive number of times. Normally, follow this procedure.
The account unlock email is automatically sent to your personal email address registered with Workcloud. If your personal email address is not registered, it will be sent to your company email address.
① You will receive an email titled “Unlock Instructions” in your inbox.
Click on the “Unlock my account” button in that email within 24 hours of your receipt.
② You will be redirected to the Workcloud login screen.
You will then see the message “Your account has been unlocked successfully. Please sign in to continue.” is displayed and the lock is released.
Please enter your correct email address and password.
③ Click on “Login.”
Notes: If you enter the wrong email address or (and) password the excessive number of times, the Workcloud will lock again.
In that case, start from ① above again. Please use the latest unlock email you received.
If you do not know your correct registered password, please reset your password by referring here without entering your email address or password after moving to the login screen in ②.
Cannot log in because you forgot your password
Send yourself the account unlock email
If you make a mistake in entering your email address or password on the Workcloud login screen the excessive number of times, an unlock email will be automatically sent to your personal email address. However, you can resend the email yourself.
*If your personal email address is not registered in Workcloud, the email will be sent to your company email address.
If you cannot find the email, etc., please follow this procedure to resend the email.
① Click “Resend unlock email” on the Workcloud login screen.
② Enter your personal email address as registered with Workcloud.
*If your personal email address is not registered, enter your company email address.
③ Click “Send.”
Workcloud has sent you the email.
④ You will receive the email titled “Unlock Instructions” in your inbox.
Click on the “Unlock my account” button in that email within 24 hours of your receipt.
*The procedure after this is the same as the one after ② in “How to unlock your account” above.
⑤ You will be redirected to the Workcloud login screen.
You will then see the message “Your account has been unlocked successfully. Please sign in to continue.” is displayed and the lock is released.
Please enter your correct email address and password.
⑥ Click on “Login.”
Notes: If you enter the wrong registration e-mail address or (and) password the excessive number of times, the Workcloud will lock again. At that time, Wokcloud will automatically send the unlock email to your personal email address. Start again from ④ above. Please use the latest unlock email you received.

Cannot log in because you forgot your password

■Email address was not locked
Cause This will appear when you click “Resend unlock email” in ① and the wrong registered email address or password has not yet been entered more than the excessive number of times.
Workcloud will not send you the unlock email if you have not exceeded the excessive number of times.
Solution Your account has not yet been locked. So, please continue to enter your correct registered email address and password at the login screen.
*Workcloud will automatically send an unlock email to your personal email address if you make an incorrect entry more than the excessive number of times.
■Email address not found
Cause Your personal email address is registered, but the email address you entered was your company email address.
Or the email address you entered was incorrect or not registered with Workcloud.
Solution If your personal email address is registered, please enter the correct personal email address. If you do not have your personal email address, please enter the correct company email address. Start again from ①.
Error massage when unlock link expires
■Unlock token has expired, please request a new one
Cause You did not unlock your account from the “Unlock my account” button link in the email within 24 hours of receiving the account unlock email. This will then be displayed when you click the button link after 24 hours have elapsed.
The link will expire after 24 hours after receiving the email.
Solution Re-enter your personal email address registered with Workcloud in the “Email address” field at the bottom of the error message and click “Send”.
You will receive a new unlock email. Please follow the latest link to unlock your account.
