Approval of time and leave requests (e.g., approval of timesheets, approval of leave requests, etc.) is normally approved by the leader of the team to which the employee belongs.
Alternatively, a specific employee other than the leader can be designated as the approver for that employee.
However, if multiple approvers are set as an “Approval group” and applied to a target employee, the approval can be completed when one of the approvers in the approval group approves the form.
To use this feature, please follow the steps below.

① Click on ADMINS [Approval requests].
② Click on “Time & leave related” - “Approval groups”.
③ Click on “Add new.”
④ Set the approval group name, code, etc.
⑤ Click on “Save.”
⑥ Click on “Add an employee.”
⑦ Search for employees to be members of the created approval group by employee ID or name.
⑧ Click on the eligible employee.
⑨ Click on “Save.”
⑩ Click on “Add an employee.” Add a second member by following steps ⑦ through ⑨.
⑪ You could also add a second member.
If you need to add more than three members, please follow the same procedure from ⑩.
⑫ After completing the addition of approved members, click “Return to list”.
The list now reflects the settings you have made.
Ⅱ. Apply approval group to employee approver
Next, specify the approval group created in “Setting approval groups” as the approver for the target employee.
① Search by employee ID, name, etc., for employees you want to make the approver an approval group, rather than a team leader or specific employee.
② Click on “Settings” - “Employment / HR settings” - “Teams & approvals”.
③ Click on “Edit.”
④ In the “First level approvers” field, select “Use approval groups”.
⑤ The “Approval group” field will appear.
Specify the name of the approval group that applies to the employee.
⑥ Click on “Save.”
⑦ The approval group specified in ⑤ is reflected as the approver.
Approve by approval group members
Employees who are members of the approval group will receive time and leave related approval requests. Approval is complete when one of the members approves the request.
The members can approve the request in the same way as usual, either from the dashboard screen, from the “Approvals” function of the supervisor, or from the approval request e-mail.

To add or remove members to or from an approval group that has already been created, follow the steps below.
① Click on ADMINS [Approval requests].
② Click on “Time & leave related” - “Approval groups”.
③ Click on the name of the approval group to which you want to add or remove an approval member.

④ Click on “Add an employee.”
⑤ Search for employees you want to add as approved members by employee ID or name.
⑥ Click on the eligible employee.
⑦ Click on “Save.”
⑧ You have added the employee as this approval group member.
To add more members to this approval group, follow steps ④ through ⑦.

④ Click on “✖” to the right of the name of the employee you wish to remove from member in this approval group.
Approved employees of the approval groups
If you want to check the approved employees in each approval group, follow the steps below.
① Click on ADMINS [Approval requests].
② Click on “Time & leave related” - “Approval groups”.
③ Click on the name of the approval group for which you want to check the approved employees.
④ You can see the approved employees in this approval group in the lower section.

Requests and approvers are tied together.
If a member who approved a paid leave, timesheet request, etc. is no longer in the approval group (removed), the cancellation request will not be sent to other or new approval members. It will be sent to the previously approved member who approved it.
Therefore, if the former approval member is still working for your company, that employee should approve the cancellation request.
If the employee (former member) has already resigned, someone with administrative authority at your company should approve the cancellation on his/her behalf.
